CCPA Compliance
DocSUE is committed to respecting the privacy rights of California residents under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and its amendment, the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). This page explains how we comply with these laws and how you can exercise your rights.
Scope and Applicability
The CCPA/CPRA applies to California residents and grants specific rights regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information. While DocSUE does not require registration or store user accounts, we may collect limited personal information through automated means such as cookies, web beacons, and server logs when you visit our site. This information is used solely for analytical purposes and to improve user experience.
Your Rights Under CCPA/CPRA
As a California resident, you have the following rights:
- Right to Know: You can request details about the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you in the past 12 months.
- Right to Delete: You may request the deletion of your personal information, subject to certain legal exceptions.
- Right to Opt-Out of Sale or Sharing: You have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. While we do not sell personal information for monetary compensation, we may allow third-party analytics services to collect data for advertising purposes. You may opt out of this sharing.
- Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA/CPRA rights.
- Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information: You may request to limit our use of sensitive personal information, though we do not collect such data beyond what is necessary for site functionality.
How We Comply
DocSUE does not maintain user profiles, databases, or personally identifiable accounts. We use only essential, anonymized analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics with IP anonymization) and do not link data to individual identities. We do not sell personal information. Third-party services we use are contractually obligated to comply with CCPA/CPRA requirements.
Data We Process
Under CCPA/CPRA, the following categories of personal information may be collected:
- Internet or other electronic network activity information (e.g., pages visited, time spent, clickstream data)
- Device identifiers and IP addresses (anonymized where possible)
- Usage patterns and preferences related to site navigation
We do not collect: names, addresses, email addresses, phone numbers, financial data, or government identifiers.
Legal Basis for Processing
Our processing of personal information is based on legitimate interest in providing an informative, functional, and secure website experience. We do not rely on consent for data collection under CCPA/CPRA, as we are not selling or sharing personal information for targeted advertising purposes without your opt-out choice.
How to Exercise Your Rights
To exercise your CCPA/CPRA rights, please submit a request via email to: [email protected]. In your message, include:
- Your full name
- Your California residency status
- The specific right you wish to exercise (e.g., access, deletion, opt-out)
- Any supporting information (e.g., device ID or browsing session details if known)
For opt-out requests, you may also use our Do Not Sell My Personal Information link, if available on our site footer.
Response Timeframes
We will acknowledge your request within 10 business days and respond within 45 calendar days. If more time is needed, we will notify you and explain the reason for the delay. Extensions may not exceed an additional 45 days.
No Discrimination Policy
DocSUE does not and will not deny goods or services, charge different prices, or provide a different quality of service because you exercised your CCPA/CPRA rights. We treat all users equally regardless of privacy choices.

We may update this CCPA Compliance page periodically to reflect changes in the law or our practices. The most recent version will always be posted here with an effective date. We encourage you to review this page regularly.
